This hearty, bean-free chili is loaded with ground beef, spices, and vegetables for a comforting, low-carb meal.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes (no added sugar)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the browned beef, onion, bell pepper, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth to the crockpot.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Serve hot with optional toppings like shredded cheese or sour cream.
